       @mocha I think most of the appeal is that they invest quite a bit into making Framework owners feel like part of a "community" (sorta like Apple) and provide a stable standard-ish platform for people to tinker with (sorta like Raspberry Pi).Plus being able to like… replace the hinges / battery and not have buggy boot firmware seems pretty nice.

       most of the repairability aspect ive seen of it is people using the mainboards as a sort of SOC type shit, to integrate into other things  which, you could just do that regardless
