       Update: Seems they were having technical issues this morning. It's working better now. Sorry for kvetching. XDDear God, kobo.com is the slowest webshite I've ever seen.I'm almost regretting not buying another Kindle, and that is seriously LOW.Also, "nicomachean" gives me zero results, even though it's trying to autosuggest "The Nicomachean Ethics" as I type it.Our craft is in such an awful place right now.        @rl_dane it is slow, but the most annoying thing to me is that there doesn’t seem to be a way to change the default behaviour of searching only for books in Swedish (I guess based on geolocation, haven’t tried from Norway yet). So I always have to change it.

       @rl_daneI'm not arguing that CompSci is a craft. I just don't see it often exercised in that form (which to me means developing and pushing forward methods and ideas and seeing it as an art and not just a means to an end) rather than as a regurgitation of existing praxis in the context of the commercial web.

       @amin @rl_daneFor many of us it's a craft way more than engineering at least, it's more about understanding a system, and finding the ways to create something.Both programming and crafts really has a big focus on making something that others can make use of, and make it so that it best fits their needs.Or at least that's how I think about it :)

       @sotolf @aminI think Baldur's recent article is very telling: those who see it as a means to an end are rejoicing for the slopocalypse.Those who see it as a craft have been seething for the past decade. XDGuess which camp I fall under. 😅
