So, Covid-cautious peeps: how do you handle it when the people in your orbit want sympathy for getting sick •again•.I just had this go-round again today with one of my coworkers, & I'm afraid I didn't handle it very well. (Granted, there were other factors in play that impaired my restraint. But even so....)#CovidIsNotOver #MaskUp

@cavyherd@wandering.shop Maybe I'm rude but I ignore it if I can and if I can't I say "I don't get how you tolerate being sick so often."

@cavyherd@wandering.shop Similar for me. I know people who are down with some preventable illness at least part of a week, if not parts of several weeks every single month during the winter. This is not something that happened this much prior to the COVID pandemic, and I'm honestly at a loss to explain why people tolerate it.
