       I've never really noticed with certain workflows on VPS how slow the virtualisation platforms actually are. I don't know if it is just over-provisioning on the hardware or just slow CPUs but it is something I don't experience in #bhyve installations (maybe I'm more generous).

       @Tubsta I had grown accustomed to vps performance until I rented my own server.Holy crap, vps are crap.

       @mwl I have IPv6 to run at home. Plus I'll shortly have 1000/400 connection, so bandwidth isn't a problem either (I stick Bunny in front for IPv4 users).I think I'll move the new Akkoma instance to a bhyve instance located at the new place before the production ThinkCentre cluster turns up.
