       i think alot of (high level) programmers struggle with  C because types in C are just suggestions

       @k1tteh It's a strongly typed language but unlike other languages where type violations raise an error it rewards you with anything-could-happen UBs insteadEven worse, in like 99% of the time, the thing that does happen "matches" the unsuspecting programmer's expectations, lulling them into a sense of safety

       @koakuma the "strong" part breaks down pretty quick once you realize it's integers all the way down and you can shove a boolean into a size_t
