       ok linux nerds what are your takes on shells in the year of our lord twenty twenty six? I've got a six second boot time on zsh on WSL and while I could optimise a bit, I get the impression that this is an ecosystem that has been left behind for greener pastures

       @jorin zsh with zim and no more plugins than i need is instant for me, but i don’t use my shell that much
