       @fknretardlol @JoeBravo77 I believe even the rivers and lakes there have high salinity. They do have underground aquifers, but if they use the desalination plants for 80% of their drinking water I doubt they can switch over to ground water wells in any time frame that would make a difference.It's not like Iran doesn't have it's own problems with water supply. I've read that they use rivers and lakes for the bulk of their supply. Which is better, but still it requires large facilities to filter and treat the water so that it is safe enough to drink. It would all boil down to which side can degrade the other's water infrastructure first.

       @john_rando @fknretardlol @JoeBravo77 iran wins that fight hands down. they're obviously way bigger, the infrastructure is more dispersed and harder to destroy, and it seems we can't even hit most of northeastern iran with our standoff munitionsthey wouldn't get away unscathed but they can essentially depopulate israel and the gulf states at will by destroying the desalination infrastructure
