       I really believe Netanyahu is dead and has been dead for at least a week or longer. If he were alive, and Israel was taking this kind of a beating with the US paralyzed to do anything about it, he would have ordered the Samson Doctrine by now. The only other explanation is that the Israelis really don’t have that kind of a nuclear arsenal and never did. And it wouldn’t come as a surprise that it always an elaborate bluff on their part.

       @admin I think you're ODing on questionably sourced whitepills. Israel has been taking cluster munitions and getting hit harder than they'd like, but the country is nowhere near implosion, and as for Netanyahu, I have no idea. It's possible that whoever replaces him may be more hardline, but I'm not sure that benefits them when Netanyahu at least knows optics and marketing for Boomers, and Israel is full of guys even uglier, more stereotypically Jewish, who say even more unhinged things.

       @admin The risk of a nuclear first strike is incalculable. No one knows what Putin or Xi will do. It's not even clear how the US would respond. The pressure to completely isolate Israel would be immense. Depending on the target - Mecca for example - it might set off a zerg rush that Israel could not repel.Has Netanyahu appeared at all in the last week?

       @ArdainianRight Israel is a tiny country whose entire existence depends on blackmailing an increasingly beleaguered and compromised superpower into subsidizing it economically and militarily. That superpower cannot protect them indefinitely, especially now that Israel has started a war against a country that is allied with three nuclear powers. From where I sit, Israel is extremely close to implosion.
