'fwupd' on Linux succeeded, where Lenovo System Update on Windows failedThe firmware updates took fine from Linux. Not sure why it was crashing on Windows. After updating from Linux live USB, I rebooted to Windows and checked again with Lenovo System Update. All firmware updates had been applied. #Lenovo #ThinkPad #L14 #Linux #fwupdRT: https://social.retroedge.tech/objects/d6af8e27-facd-4816-9401-1aca95e6e627

@matthew I wonder, how is it implemented on Windows updater? Correct me if I'm wrong, but fwupd fiddles with some EFI-vars to boot (on next reboot) into some kind of shim for actual update (at least in case of those Lenovo laptops I've ever touched).EDIT: ah, hi5 fellow T14 user :D

@KasTasMykolas @matthew I wouldn't be surprised if yet another recent Windows 11 update fucked it up, like everything else lately.
