       I gave two of the three gifts I can afford to give this week to #Gaza, to people I already know and regularly communicate with; I woke up this morning thinking I knew who I would give the third gift to.But I've just learned of a young unmarried woman living in a tent, caring for younger siblings (and I think some other people, I'm not yet fully clear). She appears to have no support at all.It is really hard to decide! So many are in need, and it's so hard to judge who is in most need!

       Friends in #Gaza The more I know about your situation, the easier it is for me to decide whether to give to you. I can only make two or three gifts each week. I give mostly to* Single adults caring for children;* Who are living in tents;* Who do not have anyone in their family who is SERIOUSLY ill;* Who aren't receiving much support from other people.However, if I know enough about your case, I may recommend you to other potential donors even if I won't give myself.

       The reason that I won't help people who are seriously ill is that for the same money we can keep alive five or ten people who are fairly well or one person who is seriously ill. That's a harsh judgement and many people may think I'm wrong to make it but I have limited money and that's my policy.Similarly, I won't give for anything which isn't directly keeping people alive. I won't give for education fees or festival gifts or special clothing.
