       can any of the train nerds develop a type of routing I call hobo-routing?consider the following: you're out late in city A, there's no connection home to your city B that late but there's connections to other places all nightthe routing would get you to B as soon as possible while keeping you on trains all night (even if it means taking a train back and forth all night)all of this only works with a Dticket or other tickets of the sort of course

       @N33R one big issue could be that regional trains don't run overnight - sure, there may be the one or other statistical outlier but typically there's a 3-hour break between 1 and 4 where every single regional train is either at the platform or in some depot/yard, waiting for its first service of the day

       @awoo @N33R around here they do, there are s-bahns still doing half hourly connections on the line to the airport and weekend service typically makes a few lines run longer in the evening, but nya :o

       @kadse @awoo btw if you're ever in this situation in Berlin and you don't wanna ride the Ringbahn all night because its full of drunk people: you can just ride the FEX to the airport and back all night :neodog_blep:
