       @Cat_LeFey sometimes the music IS the ritual! but if the music isnt the focus i generally won’t put it on in the background

       @Cat_LeFey @echosystemname depends. Background music for high ritual sounds unwise, silence or ritual music in the foreground sounds better.But for every-day things? Brewing that magic bean extract in the morning? Kitchen witching? I have a radio stream on almost all the time, mostly classical music (ignoring the religious subtexts or rewording them to praise my cats… wish we had people like Händel and Bach as well, but they likely would have been burnt, pity that). Big fan of baroque music. Or I sing, hum, whistly, …Music is life. To live without my music, impossible to be… and all that.

       @Cat_LeFey I put no but then thought of my solo dance sessions, which feel like pagan rituals because I’m dancing mostly outdoors with all the spirits of the forest as I listen to my music on shuffle. They are healing.
