       I firmly believe that all 14 year olds should surreptitiously be given Pratchett by someone that isn't a parent. Especially if they live in a household where they have to hide it because it contains witches. They are books that teach you how to think, even in the face of extreme authority. This is my story.        @PetraPhoenix I want to get into Pratchett but I have no idea where to start (and I'm sure I'll get a bunch of suggestions telling me to start with "any of" and then at least 5 titles each. So I'm no closer to starting because choice overwhelm beats me again 😄

       @luyin Whichever one you pick up first - read that. Yes there are some books that you'll get more out of if you have read others, but honestly, don't worry about that, it'll still be brilliant.
