       Looks from here like the Trump regime is hoping Iran will provide a Reichstag fire-type event (look it up) in the U.S. -- see those scary warnings of attacks on California. Why? A pretext to escalate domestic fascism, such as even more direct interference with this year's elections.

       @dangillmorCalifornia would be a strange target for Iran.It's not the center of government. It's not even pro-Trump or pro-war.It would make much more sense to target any of Trump's properties around the world.

       @dangillmor even if there isn't a domestic attack by Iran, this regime will make up reasons to escalate its domestic fascism. like it does now - lies about crime, immigrants, violent protests. they will simply lie, or worse, conduct a false flagthey are lying, corrupt fascists. i wouldn't put any atrocity past them
