       Out of all the flip phones my grandmother kept in storage in her garage the whole time that she could've given to me (one of them is an LG from 2015 that could possibly connect to a cell network still), she gave me the carrier-locked ones.

       @tehrealgh5tbusters I know cybersecurity friends who keep around flip phones as carriers still almost universally allow hotspots on them.
