       Question for IOS gurus: Is there a way to play an ISO file (copy of a video DVD) on an Ipad? Works fine on Linux desktop and Android with VLC, but that's apparently unsupported in IOS.

       @dangillmor I'm assuming the libcss decryption isn't available on the iPad version of vlc. Maybe decrypt it on linux and stream over your local network to the ipad? Probably better to just rip the video at that point.

       @dangillmor @hasani infuse is a GREAT player. To be certain it plays ISOs, you can always go to the community forums on their website and ask, they’re very responsive.

       @dangillmor I use Infuse to play ISOs on my iPad. Usually I just play them from an SMB source but they can also be moved onto the iPad storage too. However, all of my ISOs have the copy protection stripped by AnyDVD when I rip them from disc so I don’t know how well it handles those where the CP has been left in place.
