       @cell haven’t seen those cups in a while! Remember that they were introduced in Singapore as a reusable alternative to the standard take away cup, but it seems like it didn’t catch on, b/c I didn’t see them last week. In fairness: I did reuse mine, but only at home.

       @cell tbf: there are so many doors that have a sign on them that says “please keep this door closed at all times”, yet you *are* supposed to open it. They just want you to immediately close it behind you. And then there are the pages with the text “this page is intentionally left blank”.In the face of all of that anarchy, I probably would choose violence also and poke that straw in.In related news: I was confronted with a sign that said something like “please don’t stand on the floor” today. Not sure what I was supposed to do with that, while I’d been standing and walking on the floor for an hour already. I took a picture, but clearly not very well…
