       @olivvybee@beehive.city Well.. It's cute.To not only shitpost: I feel soemtimes myself troubled with the "how much" of an alt text there should be.Should I explain every detail? (Time consuming)Should I sjust give a genereal idea? (might be missleading or not enough)The problem here is (once again) that you can do it many ways and in alsmost as much ways wrong...

       @Erpel The general guidance is: if you were sending the photo to a friend but they said it wouldn’t load, what would you say in reply? ie what’s the important thing that made you send it to them?For the plushie bot example, I would at least say what entity the plushie is, like the one I saw that made me post was a plushie of a succulent plant in a pot where the pot had a little smiling faceIf there are particularly interesting or important details then mention those too, but there’s no need to go overboard (eg in this post I didn’t describe the fact that the sign is above a window or what can be seen through the window, because it wasn’t important for what I wanted the photo to demonstrate)
