       It's crazy how gamers now have to pretend that Marathon, a game that can't even crack 100k on launch weekend, is competing with Arc Raiders, a game with an average of 3.2 ​million concurrent players across all platforms. All because a few streamers​ are being paid big bucks by Bungie to read copes off of a script​ and their sycophants will hound anyone who says otherwise.Gamers and the indistinct, sub 90 IQ brown mass they have become are some of the most raped goy slaves on the planet dude, I'm so glad I barely engage with that hobby anymore.

       We have these little flashes of 1984 tier "don't believe your lying eyes" moments every now and then, only instead of big things like gaslighting a public into believing a war that just started has always existed, it's gay and retarded shit like the latest blackrock write off being some big impressive hit so the studio can quietly shut down without some investigative journo poking around until after rigor mortis has already set in.

       @Shadowman311 I like how nowhere in this conversation is anything about why it needed to be Marathon at all. What does this add to the Marathon series? It's not like it's a big household name that can move copies like Halo could, it's an ancient series known mostly for the story and a few funny phrases. But they just had to resurrect it from the dead for their shitty little live service slop farm that will die in a year anyway.
