       @Ashedryden I was literally trying to figure out why my display made the high pitched whine noise. I bought a new power supply (which the old one was buzzing and the new one isn't) but that wasn't the source of the noise. turns out the monitor only makes that noise when the brightness is around 80%.

       @GuillaumeRossolini @Ashedryden I could guess it's coil wine from PWM of the display brightness or somethingIt's the only monitor I've ever heard doing that tbf it's not a particularly high end monitor. it may be a 1440p freesync compatible 170Hz, but it's still a VA panel.
