       TL;DR: just send a request!however, if I reject/don't act on it, here's why:honestly, I've had enough of the twitter game. been there, made a million-impression hit tweet, done that, etcthis is why I'm going to be a bit more choosy on fedi. here's three of the heuristics that I look for when accepting/rejecting a follower request:- pronouns in bio (are you a friend/ally of BLÅHAJ?)- signs of internet presence (will you become a friend? *peek*)- is your instance administration generally decent? (i.e., not terfy, etc.)(also, I procrastinate request acceptance)this isn't a move to a mutuals-only account, but these make for a very loose approximation! as a general rule, I’ll probably follow you for a week or so before I approve your followI won't accept everyone, and I'll run a mental implementation of generational gc on my follows/followers every now and then to keep things nice and clean.click through to the rest of this thread for further contact details, and some other thoughts.#noxp
