       @fpcgggc I was on Tumblr when Cathy Brennan was getting harassed with violent messages by that high school aged boy, and everyone was saying she outed and basically murdered this poor delicate transgirl...all she did was report the abusive (super inappropriate!) emails sent on the school property to the headmaster of his school. That is what adults are supposed to do to misbehaving children. I found Gallus Mag, (now known as Gender Trender) and esnowflakeespecial while I agreed with them, I didn't want to be accused of wrong think so I stopped reading them. I still followed radfems, and I was going through some shit, and they were the only ones who were like "hey, maybe you are trying to self-harm through dangerous online hookups" instead of "YAAAAS QUEEN"ing it. I never forgot that, so I never jumped on the FUCK TERF train. Through Tumblr I also met a trans person who concealed their identity from me who I invited into my home, but they were a con-man and I noticed how their other victims couldn't speak plainly about the fact someone LIED about their criminal past, but it can't be mentioned because dead naming. That was a long time ago. Watching smart, brave women flagellate themselves and remove the words to describe why the rape and femicide of ourselves and our foremothers happened in the name of TWAW, started to bother me, like ash in my eye. I grew up and saw teenage pregnancy and domestic abuse and rape abound  around myself and the women I cared for.  Alok Vaid Monon said little girls were kinky in defense of child abuse and something inside me snapped. I tried to follow Assigned Male Comics to reeducate myself and I felt sick at the stark misogyny. There was this band full of nonbinary men, and I threw my support behind them 100% as a way to atone for my TERF sins. Then the frontman, who was super totally a woman, was accused of raping and sexually assaulting multiple  female fans under the pretext of his shows being "a safe space in the punk community". TL;DR: Tumblr and "listening to trans women when they speak".

       Camp Trans at the Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival.  Spending time at MichFest as a young woman was an almost utopian experience: watching strong women in community building and running a very sophisticated feminist world for several days a year.  The energy and safety there were amazing and I wish every woman on Spinster could experience something like that.  It was  obvious that the TWs protesting at the entrance gate were entitled males, not women, and that their presence inside the gate would alter the whole atmosphere, certainly not in a good way.  Rigorous security was necessary.A friend told me she went to MichFest once and made a point of visiting Camp Trans, where she found the TWs harmless and not threatening at all.  When I told her that one of those people murdered a Black lesbian couple and their son the year after MichFest closed, she just blinked and looked skeptical.  She continues to promote trans ideology in her FB posts, and so do her friends.  I’m not holding my breath waiting for any of them to hit #PeakTrans. @fpcgggc
