@jonben @samuel XMPP är standardiserad av IETF och enkelt att utbygga om man måste. Speciellt om man vill utnyttja federation då krävs väldigt lite resurser i kontrast till Matrix. Finns väldigt många servrar och clients även.

@yura in this world spending your money and time unwisely ultimately is an act of rebellion and thus prove of still being human. It’s the refusal to be subject to competition in a world that only knows winners and losers divided by the rules of „the market“. To deny these mechanics to infiltrate every single second of our life is what constitutes actual freedom.

@yura on the other hand, upholding your duties to always be on the watch, always be on your toe tips, to stay ahead of „the game“, to always perform is nothing but a justification for the unfairness of a system, that can not but produce a hand full of winners in a sea of losers, that never really had a chance. You’re being made to believe it’s your fault so you don’t question the rules of a world that’s ultimately rigged against you from the very beginning.

@arcanechat @brie XMPP is also the name of a decentralized network (based on the protocol of the same name). It’s not a single product, so it leaves you with choices. This can be seen as good or bad.
