I wonder, when people complain about #XMPP having so many XEPs and clients not supporting all of them, are they aware that the web is the same way? There are so many features and web browsers don't always support the same subset but webdevs deal with it just fine without thinking that will kill the web.Plus, Googlers said on the XMPP mailing lists that they shut down federation because of spam, because we all know Google doesn't know how to manage spam in a federated network... (*hrm* email)

Seems I wrote a S3 storage backend for Prosody. It is slow and barely usable for more than basic data due to async requirements, which require further restructuring of Prosody itself. Good to have something to test with I guess.

@jabberati @ge0rg Channel Binding (e.g. the SASL SCRAM-*-PLUS mechanisms) would have made login fail, making it more noticeable that something is not right.

The #Debian #Trixie release notes recommend /boot partition is at least 768 MB and has 300 MB free, but the /boot created by an earlier Debian installation is only 471M with ~150M free. Seems risky to try to resize an encrypted LVM. Somehow a laptop I upgraded a few months ago came out okay despite the same size of /boot
