@lunduke @admin @omnipotens Sad that you see it that way. I've had some pretty decent conversations here. And I think that people are just more open to speaking their mind. I think it matters about your following. You probably have more followers on twitter so you get more interactions. Most things I post on twitter get ignored, while here it leads to conversations.

So it seems like there are a lot of people that I'm following are on the huge servers like mastodon.social, and to me, this is a shame. One of the great things about Mastodon is the federated nature and having small communities deciding on their own what type of content you want to see. I especially supersized since most people I follow are technical and should have no issue setting up their own server, even a pleroma server. I would, but I like being part of linux.rocks community .

@admin I was actually thinking that when I saw the OP. The farmer probably would have been "conservative" by his values but might have been less so when it comes to government help. It is a way of making an us vs them instead of looking at policies and issues. @publicvoit
