@dookie You can make infinity IRC channels, and segregate them into groups with channel title tags. Hexchat is one of the better graphical crossplatform clients. What aspects of the Discord layout is so useful? Something about moderation? Message replies?Two of IRC's main weaknesses are scrollback and searchability, and they're closely related. @dookie Is Android or iOS optimization a dealbreaker?I agree, all IRC clients I've seen are ugly. I personally think AngularJS would make for a good interface, but I can't afford to do more than a barebones version if I make one at all.RE calls and such... I think OAuth would help with things like this. There's an identity issue, but... OAuth IRC logins, and OAuth added to murmur, means that people could run 'fedi' servers and authenticate on other peoples' IRC and Mumble using their own OAuth fedi server. As long as they're federated...So much is possible and just out of reach at present.

@Moon I checked the leaks, seemingly no Shitposter.club DMs to poa.st users in the trove. Are all SPC/POAST DMs stored only on SPC? How were we unaffected?(Also, we need to promote session tokens being tied to IP holy shit, OAuth token thefts just keep on happening. It's not like we can't have multiple tokens saved by one mobile client so they don't have to repeatedly login on known wifi/cell networks.)
