@matt they used to have a problem with people putting down the phone when there was a wait so it was a propaganda campaign started by the big phone to make calls more efficient and reduce operating costs.

@EU_Commission Small correction - for Lithuanian "šv." is an abbreviation for "šventų" which just means "holy". So it should be spelled out in full or just dropped entirely :)

@nixCraft why do people keep sharing this. Web traffic being automated does NOT mean dead internet bots. It's just web scrapers and normal automation - do we imply that web shouldn't be automated? @futurebird it is a SEO trick as recently google has been ranking up articles with listed authors. You can basically trace back any thing that's ruining the internet back to Google these days 🙄

back to some videos with #kdenlive and it has improved a lot since I touched it last year! I'm making coding tutorials for youtube and kdenlive has everything you'd need. The workflow combined with KDE's Spectacle is very pleasant: screencapture -> import clip -> place and right click transform to compose the view.The stability improvements are very noticeable as well. I've had some crashes last year but not this time around!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for Kdenlive#kde #linux #videoEditing

@stux the entire concept of insider trading is fundamentally flawed as it's basically impossible to police either way. As a casual investor American SEC is beyond incompetent in every sense of the word. The whole US stock market is a whalepool and everyone knows it but are OK with it as long as the remoras get fed once now and then.

@nixCraft I'd go further and say that there are no magic developers in general. Most technology would be discovered by someone else and co-operation and sharing is much more admirable than personality empire building.
