@TylerLayne @cartophile your thoughts and the things you've witnessed have no bearing on whether you're a good or bad person, and they don't mean you're any more likely to offend. still, as cartophile said, you should report this material should it happen again. pawoo is a minefield for this type of content, and if you intend to use that instance i'd recommend exercising an abundance of caution

@comrade_lecter it always bothered me when the main discourse of the day was still whether genital preferences were inherently transphobic. the whole point was that genitals aren't equal to gender - so if someone doesn't equate certain genitals to being cisgender or transgender, then calling their preference transphobic always seemed the more harmful of the two. no one should have to justify their kinks or preferences, or any part of their lives, with any amount of past trauma, regardless of what it is they're interested in. i think that's an issue that a lot of these people haven't processed yet; if the preference isn't being actually used to cause harm then they're not entitled to every last detail

i've seen individuals from radqueer tumblr talk about a migration to the fediverse, but so many of them are just moving to mastodon.social... i'm not sure how to suggest they might want to redirect to more explicitly paraphile-friendly spaces. i do hope their migration goes well for those of them who are joining the fediverse

it's the solstice today - which means it's boylover pride day. to my fellow boylovers and to all who celebrate, happy boylover pride! our attractions are something to be proud of and appreciate. especially in times of stress, it's important to remember this and to stand in solidarity with one another. it's a blessing to be able to feel these attractions in all the ways they manifest. stand strong!

i want everyone with "minors dni" on their bio on social media to seriously consider why each of them feel uncomfortable with minors. i doubt you could find a reasoning among them all that's neither ageist nor in fear of antis

@comrade_lecter i'm not sure what in particular this is about, but i most commonly see this about identity terminology, particularly when one definition is broader than the other - it feels unnecessarily divisive to me when people argue about which version is the "accurate" meaning in these situations. if both have linguistic significance, and both meanings are used, then the word has two meanings, is how i see it
