Going through the #sexwork hashtag, it’s disappointing how few people are at all concerned or curious about the lack of #sexworkers on mastodon. I can only conclude that mastodon is not sexwork-friendly and that is pretty disappointing to me. I hope at some point it will be, but the community of the fediverse should probably wonder why, considering the role as canaries sex workers have played in society, especially online.

I’ve shared a ton of information about mastodon to my #sexworker peers and there has been very little interest. And really the only reason I’m here is because I’m a giant nerd, not because I have an onlyfans.

The further I fall into the tech rabbit hole, especially in regards to VR, the less patience I have with closed-source software. There’s usually a big feature missing and it’s just up to one person whether or not it gets addressed and it just sucks knowing it probably never will be and it’ll just continue to be this great piece of software that you can’t use because of ONE issue that breaks your use case.

I’m so frustrated at Bigscreen VR not working with Jellyfin. It’s almost the perfect program for me to watch stuff in VR but it just will not work at all for my setup. So so frustrating.

Getting an iPhone was probably the worst business decision equipment-wise I’ve ever made. The file organization on these devices is abysmal. Never had so many problems with my android.

@geotechland the worst thing for me is the endless camera roll. On android I had it setup so that every editing program output to a specific folder so all of my “finished” content was in one place, and on iPhone it’s all mixed in together. 🥴 just a lot of functionality missing here and there.
