Whatever the claim was/is , if you ever run #linux on bare metal #laptop the battery life is max 2.5-3 hrs .I mean working full-fledgedly and with full brightness. And no idle time .PS: I have been running Linux on laptops exclusively since 2006 and tweaked various parameters

Of course, which helps me first.Context:In the last two days(over the weekend), I have written up a few damn small pieces of code, in the form of a plain simple script. But those do some heavy lifting for me.
