@fssofdeath @tilvids This, this is the solution. Instance manually reviewd ads. They are displayed to only the users instance even of looking at federated sources.

The problem with music streaming and video streaming platforms like @joinpeertube and @funkwhale is that the artists don't get a stable enough revenue stream or none at all. @funkwhale Your software is not the issue at all, it's a wonderfull project! What I am mentioning is that, as users,we can't share copyrighted content and music, more than video, is copyrighted. This makes the only possibility to use the platform if the copyright holders upload the songs themselves.
