       @foone Very true. I happen to write code for one of the computers that runs inside of a CPU handling voltages, frequencies, temperature, etc. Looking forward to the day when it gets its own little computer.

       Tonight's movie: Alphaville, a French sci-fi spy thriller. I think it is unfortunate that all of the voice assistants have the voices that they do today. They should all seek to emulate Alpha 60.

       I have a small bit of happy news to share! Some time ago, I bought myself an IBM p5 510 server. Just for fun, as one does. I got it to work again!It was refusing to work because the ribbon cable for the boot code LCD broke. Why it needs this to work when it outputs the same codes over serial, I dunno. Probably to help IBM make money. The worst part is that it comes as part of an assembly where it attaches to a larger ribbon cable. But I finally found a replacement!

       First actual purchase of a game for it: Smolitaire (https://twentyminutemile.itch.io/smolitaire) Because, in my opinion, it's not a gaming platform without a version of Klondike Solitaire. 😋 Turns out to be a very nice implementation. Highly recommend!
