- For the older folks to know: Hardware wise, Bluetooth headphones are king with this age cohort. Also CD drives are not super common nowadays lol- Free and FOSS options are nice but I'm also open to other options to pass along.

If the new year also means starting a new sketchbook, here's some tips that help me:◾Purposely draw a poorly done doodle on the first page. It'll kill that new sketchbook intimidation.◾fancy sketchbooks are cool and all, but cheaper ones allow you to feel less guilty about "messing up".◾You'll have pretty pages, and some "bad"/boring scrawly ones. Both aid you in your skill building, so respect both.◾Keep a clear plastic sheet with your sketchbook to help with bleed-through.
