Spiderverse. As good, arguably better, than the first. So. Good. A comic-book movie that reveres it’s native form, but uses motion animation to elevate the story. Best enjoyed if you’ve seen the first, but much to appreciate coming in cold. Would watch again in a heartbeat.

@futurebird The issue is whether or not your IT support is willing to work with you. ‘Willing’ isn’t even a good word. The folks who ultimately have to keep the boxes running are following so many different directives from different people who don’t talk to each other it’s not a job; it’s a circle of hell. But it’s certainly worth a conversation with them!

@red_r0sez @futurebird My spouse works on a team that creates the online training materials for flight crews on one of the majors. The amount of review and re-review those materials get is extensive. (And those materials are definitely understood to be for basic familiarization and not demonstrating competence.)
