@xarvos My guess would be that you're missing an EFI boot partition.Step 4 in the manual:https://nixos.org/manual/nixos/stable/index.html#sec-installation-partitioning-UEFIOr there could be some mismatch between booting via UEFI or legacy BIOS and your settings in configuration.nix.I think you can only do an UEFI install if you've booted with UEFI, but my knowledge on that could be wrong or outdated.

Kollege wollte die alte KeePass-Version durch KeePassXC ersetzen.Jetzt kam ne Mail rum, dass Keepass zum Ende des Monats zentral deinstalliert wird und wir bitte alle zu Enpass migrieren sollen.Migration über eine unverschlüsselte XML-Datei.

Enpass unterstützt keine Kategorien... solange man sich nicht bei denen mit einer E-Mailaddresse registriert 🤡 In der Registrierungsemail wird der Netz-interne Laptopname klar angezeigt. Enpass sendet also interne Daten ins Internet.

Enpass hängt bei jedem Ändern eines Eintrags für ca. 2 Sekunden, vermutlich speichert der direkt in die Dateien wenn ein Eintrag geändert wird.

Beim Generieren eine Passworts kann ich die Länge nicht eingeben, sondern muss einen Slider benutzen. Wäre ja kein Problem, wenn das Tool nicht bei jeder Bewegung des Sliders sofort ein neues Passwort generieren würde und dafür ca. 1s braucht.Was für eine Shitshow...

Enpass unterstützt keine Passwort-Historie... Zugriff auf Accounts verlieren ist also sehr einfach beim Ändern eines Passworts.

Korrektur: Eine Historie wird über die Backups unterstützt. Wenn man reinsehen will, verliert man aber alle Änderungen, die seitdem gemacht wurden.

@codewiz not sure if it's relevant, in my setup I have an option about uefi being protected or not (not just secure boot) and that accepts changes, but throws away all changes on reboot

@BrodieOnLinux one part of the problem is that they tried to publish multiple connected stories so you have to watch a movie and a series and play multiple games (including a multiplayer-only game) to get most of the story... and the DLCs mostly feel like seperate games that just happen to share the story universe but are otherwise mostly disconnected.

@jens @Codeberg I'm a member as well and have a similar stance, but these things take time and wont be done "in a second".Trying to convice Gitea to turn around will probably take at least a month, then if that's not successful, some more weeks seeing if a fork emerges or can be started, probably followed by more time to migrate.I doubt this will be sorted by the end of the year.

@BrodieOnLinux the linearity is bad for a FF before you reach gran pulse.You can chose between left and right? Then one way has the treasure chest at the end and the other continues the story line.Maybe you like it, that's fine. But compare it with e.g. ff7-9 where you can usually leave a dungeon, do sidequests, battle a bit, maybe even play cards in ff8 or ff9.ff12 had NMs to beat and hunt in most places.All of those stories are still linear but feel open.What does ff13 have in that place?
