Moved my account from fosstodon to mas.to. Lately, whatever I want to toot about feels out of place on fosstodon. I love the community and will keep following a majority of the accounts there.Hope the migration took care of the followers and following. Gonna reduce the count on both list once the import is all done.

My virtual plant is coming along nicely. The plant can die if not watered for 5 days at a stretch. On my vacation, I was watering the plant whenever I could get a decent LTE/WiFi by connecting to the envs.net server via SSH on iPhone 😅️.

Decided to call AT&T and check. The customer service directed my call to technical support and I ended up with the DirectTV team. Redirecting back to the technical support team that works on the 'Internet'.

So they want to turn on the WiFi on their Gateway to check for issues which I can't do for the next 25 minutes. Don't want to disrupt the internet right now in the middle of meetings. Gonna call them back later.

Couldn't get to my new desk set up for two weeks because we had a guest with us and I was using the guest room as my man cave. I am pretty pleased with the way the desk is set up even in this small space.Cables and switches are managed in the time tested tradition of ignoring the mess and hiding some of it under the bed.

Can't trust myself with the new keyboard. I hit Ctrl+Q so many times trying to hit Ctrl+W in Firefox that I enabled the warning on closing the browser. I need to rewire my mind 😭️.
