@tek It really is. I had a very good guide at hand; one of its best suggestions was to grab a Sharpie and mark the threads of the tension bolt before loosening it. Time to tighten? Get the marks on the thread to their original position. Tug (in a very specific fashion). Make minor adjustments as needed.Worked a charm.

I have an ASUS home router.I want to set up three subnets in the house (for modem & router, for WiFi devices, and for wired connections)I'm still learning, so I cannot (yet) turn my general knowledge into a specific solution.
