@Sh4d0w_H34rt If you read the full article, it's their own private blockchain, not "THE blockchain" like Bitcoin or Ethereum. They could've easily just used a database they only add to and never edit. Furthermore it's just email address and public key, so I'm not sure how that's breaking anonymity.Do whatever you want, just thought you might like the additional information.

@Sh4d0w_H34rt Def agree about having a fallback, always a good idea. As for adding additional info, I'd be surprised if Proton did that. They have a very strong track record of caring about their users, IMO, but we never know what the future holds. Never hurts to have an exit strategy ready.
