Sometimes the archiving is personal. Rented a truck to pick up my mother's best painting from my Aunt's estate sale so it isn't sold by mistake.

I'm moving a truckload of boxes out of my storage into my new office. Looking for anyone in westchester county NY who can come and help on Sunday. Jason@textfiles.com

For the first time in about 15 years, I have no storage. Everything is either in my new office or gone. This is a pretty notable day.

To handle any speculation or mysteries, what I have done is rented a really good and large office at a solid price, which reduces my monthly costs enormously. Now, I'm in the process of going through items I've had in storage and either digitizing them, getting rid of them, or confining them down to a much smaller container.

Bless the collector who put this together. (They tried to get $155k from Ebay last year, didn't get it). A GET LAMP DVD, Coin AND a Lantern? Go for it.

Took a while (years) but rounded back over the Apple IIgs emulations and a ton more are going to boot in the browser instead of looking sad at the No ProDOS page.

Ward Christensen has died at 78. This guy was a giant, a humble one, and I'm proud to have known him.

Ward Christensen didn't have kids but his brother did, and brother and niece are really touched by all the love pouring out for Ward.

If I can sadly skip the anniversary of the day that Internet Arcade slammed the Archive's bandwidth to death levels and crashed their servers, you can wait a few more days for the features to return.

One of the hacking casualties, emulation in the browser, is BACK at Internet Archive. A quarter million programs run again. But let's enjoy the #1 title first.https://archive.org/details/msdos_Oregon_Trail_The_1990

@tomjennings I'm a fraction of followers on bluesky and mastodon and get 1000% better responses and interactions and help. And a lot less shitheels.
