Next on the #linux adventure, adding a second WM to my #archlinux install. I've used #bspwm in the past and it was ok, but I don't think I've ever really tried #i3. Not that I really care for tiling managers, but it would be a fun project.

Should I finally remove my Windows 10 install and replace it with #archlinux ? I've been experimenting on my spare SSD for the last 3 weeks to make sure that everything works and Arch has been the most satisfying result. Gaming and MakeMKV work very well! I'd like to combine my notes and create a script to do a lot of the work for me, making it accessible via Git.#linux #byebyewindows

One other thing that I would like to figure out: How to "back up" my KDE setup. Any themes, window decorations, panel positions, etc. I hate having to remember to turn off power saving and screen saver crap EACH time I install. Is there a good way to do this?#archlinux #kde #linux

Andddddd the Windows install is gone. #archlinux is now installed. Time to test my #kde backup.

Messed up my boot partition somehow (it got full) so I started over and sized up.

Notifications with #jellyfin is kind of a joke. I've tried NTFY.SH, Pushover and Discord with the Webhook Plugin. Each has major issues and I'm pretty much convinced that this just doesn't work.

Guess I'll work with Notifiarr until a better solution comes along. I hope the #jellyfin team has something in the roadmap for built-in notifications!

Just in the last 24-48 hours, I have tried my best to bring up instances of GoToSocial, MissKey, CalcKey and Pleroma just to see what would work for a single user Fediverse instance. Guess who is winning right now? #fediverse #linux #selfhosting #selfhosted

@selea You would be right. GTS lacks an admin interface and doesn't support push notifications.

@selea The somewhat is true. I couldn’t get Push Notifications to work with Metatoot. 😩

Wow, I have never been frustrated with #vlc until this week. I'm so close to "controlling it" but the simplest things just don't want to work for some reason and it doesn't make sense. Documentation is odd and you need a Masters degree just to understand it IMO. Oxmplayer isn't happy with #raspberrypi and neither is MPV.

My son managed to delete 3 years of his homeschool work on his OneDrive and because it's past 30 days, I can't get it back.OneDrive doesn't have any type of notification system/service for child accounts and Syncthing doesn't seem to have a one-way sync.Any thoughts on a way to copy his crap to my local file server but ignore all deletions?

@daniel @Big_Diggity I would love this. There is a mall in Nashville that has an Apple Store and used to have a Microsoft Store right above it on the next floor. I loved going into both, seeing the hardware, trying new apps, etc. A Linux store with these things would be AWESOME!
