When it gets this warm, walking before 6 AM or walking after 9 PM are the only times I can walk two double-coated ("Down plus Guard Hairs") Shelties.Our older Sheltie runs a serious heat exhaustion or heart stroke risk, and our younger Sheltie lets us know that she has no desire to go for a long walk when it's this hot and humid.Not good weather for Shelties or Collies when it gets this hot.

@FeralRobots I'm not enjoying the whole Fedi / Mastodon balkanization.Character limits per Instance were already difficult, but tailoring content by instance makes it as user-hostile as AOL, Facebook, Google, Apple implementing their own standards; expecting everyone else to play along.If Mastodon continues going down this road of per-instance content specialization, it'll become as unfriendly and unpleasant as other WWW experiences where browsers and sites implemented their own standards.

SATURDAY MORNING WALKIES Saturday morning walkies with Victoria, Ken, Toshirō, and Sachiko as we try to get our walk in early before the extreme heat later today.Even at 6:00 AM, it was 78'F and VERY humid. Both Victoria and I were sweaty, uncomfortable, and a little irritable by the time we got home from our walk.Toshiro ran immediately to the AC vent and plopped on top of the floor vent. Sachiko planted herself in front of the floor fan.Keep cool and keep safe this weekend!
