@randahl @anderspuck Danish tax payers are currently paying for the protection of Rasmus Paludan, a raging racist who seeks to provoke violence and division in society. It is not a question of free speech. There are plenty of ways to discuss and criticize religion or culture or politics that do not include burning books. Book-burning carries clear connotations of suppression of thought and oppression of minorities.

@amerika no, unions want to ensure decent conditions for workers. Who is the everyone else you talk of? The wealthy? They can afford it, no reason to lie awake for them.Besides, unions are vastly different here than in the U.S. (among other things, they have no weird history of entanglements with the mafia).

@Wolven Exactly! I would absolutely use these tools to help me rewrite my own texts (especially helpful for us who don’t have English as our first language but have to write academic papers and research proposals in English all the time, which obviously puts us at a great disadvantage) IF they didn’t have such a horrendous impact on the environment and IF they weren’t built in such unethical ways. But they are, so I don’t.
