For the warmer months our hosts can get much more creative and it’s so exciting. Isn’t this cool?!! I’ve looked into how much a pop up like this would cost me to set up in Central Park or Prospect Park. It looks glamorous, but it’s shockingly affordable and would be fairly easy for me to set up without help. Something like this is very doable for me. As the hostess team grows it’ll be so awesome to see different visions from each person. It will create a suite of “little worlds” for us to step into!! My thoughts on Madonna are mixed. She doesn’t just have fame , she has legendary icon status. You don’t get that JuSt by selling your sexuality and body otherwise more pop stars would be legends . She continued to evolve and reinvent herself with some groundbreaking work. Her “Frozen” spiritual phase was absolute magic (although yes she could be accused of appropriating eastern religious aesthetic for commercial gain as well). I dunno, with her I can’t make such a binary judgement. I can’t hold it against her that she used a sexuality that the male owned industry was more than happy to profit off of as well. They’re the ones in charge there not her. They alone decide who makes it. So I’d primarily shame them if anything.

Oh cool I’ll check this out! Yea libfems got sex wrong because they don’t really like sex, they like male approval and attention which is pathetic. If Libfems actually liked sex and wanted to attempt liberation through sex they would insist on absolutely destroying the porn poisoned paradigm of sexuality and insist upfront absolutely everything that actually serves Women’s pleasure primarily. Like, they would promote the rule that women stop sex short immediately and leave in the middle if a scrote can’t fuck or listen to what she wants! LOL!

Look at this thread of women bragging about the low key matriarchal things they’ve done for other women. I’m SO here for it. This absolutely should be a flex and doesn’t need to be a “humble” brag, it should be a big brag because changing culture is a function of changing norms and habits around who we elevate, prioritize, and give the best of ourselves to. On DRESS CODES. I do and I don’t support mandatory dress codes for these events because if lack of access to or lack of desire for required looks prevents someone from coming who would otherwise love to attend and who would be an awesome presence in the space, we are missing out by alienating them. However there’s something to be said for the feeling that comes with the self care of polishing up to arrive someplace of value that wants you as a guest to feel taken seriously. So when you opt in to the dress code you opt in to helping create “the scene”, “the vibe”, and therefore the quality of experience for yourself and other guests. Therefore dress codes at my gatherings will be optional , but highly encouraged. These collages are a mix of casual and fancy looks I personally love. For myself I lean more towards the fancy, but that doesn’t have to mean “frilly and feminine” …. I absolutely adore the women in suits. Don’t they look fantastic in that dark blue?!
