The difference between a homosexual transsexual and an autogynephile is that a homosexual transsexual is self-harming and attempting to cope with being gay or lesbian in a homophobic and sexist world, and an autogynephile is harming everyone else around them by essentially demanding that everything, even the state, has to participate in their sexual fantasy.This gets lost in the argument, and I think it's really important it gets remembered. One group are self-harming, and the other group are engaging in mass sexual harassment.

The anti-work drama has me thinking about this old piece again. For too long a small group of clinicians have been enabled by predominantly heterosexual activists and homophobic parents to essentially sterilize vulnerable young people for not conforming to patriarchy. They justified themselves with drug money, low quality studies, and good old fashioned bullshit. They need to answer for what they've done.

Four years ago (has it been that long?!) I went through a whole bunch of 'transitioning children' studies and revealed how poor quality they were. Now, things seem to be moving in the UK and here in the States. What can I say except I told you so? It is odd to see governments finally acknowledge a horrendous medical experiment on predominantly gay children has occurred under their watch.

Interesting article in Common Sense today about the death of dating - however it does only cover straight men.I'm curious as to how other gay people have found dating post-2010. My experience has been poor, I must admit - online dating for a lesbian is essentially like swiping through profiles of men that look like they're auditioning for the role of Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs, then trying to find someone without the ACAB/NO TERFS/theythem trifecta in their profile. It gets depressing and you end up deleting the app and browsing cat rescue websites instead.What's your experience been like? Maybe this is the genesis of an article.
