@bitwarden I think there's a case to be made for having both accounts. Mastodon can be used for sharing slightly detailed tips and having discussions with the community. Pixelfed should be used for sharing a lot of photos and videos about Bitwarden.Although everyone can see any account on the Fediverse via any platform that supports it, the UX and the target audience is different. I don't think everyone wants to see everything so it makes sense to separate the feed. I hope it makes sense. 😃

@thelinuxcast There might be something up with your system, then. Which distro are you on?

@bitwarden It seems that you have deleted the original post. Have you decided not to make a Pixelfed account after all?

@bitwarden I agree but it isn't really practical for everyone. Too much of what I do requires a connection to internet, which I don't think is a rare occurrence anymore for many people. That is why I think encouraging better security hygiene rather than technological abstinence is the right way to go in this day and age. People could definitely walk or take a bicycle everywhere but it's more appropriate to recommend using electric cars and other 'green' solutions in general.

@Tutanota [It's FOSS] Crunchyroll believes that many hackers used Tutanota domain emails to hack their accounts, which is why they banned Tutanota from their list. Moreover, they recommend users to use email accounts powered by "Big Tech" companies for hassle-free sign up to their services.News flash to Crunchyroll: hackers use all kinds of email platforms. Services like Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, and everything else are constantly subject to abuse by malicious actors...https://news.itsfoss.com/crunchyroll-blocks-tutanota/

@BrodieOnLinux I had one and it was a ton of fun. I really liked it. Some of the games I enjoyed on it include Sonic Colors and Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions.

@unfa How did the premiere on Peertube go? What was the view count?

@unfa Just for reference, what do your stats on YouTube look like for a similar period of time?I am kind of impressed too. PeerTube's analytics seem to be more thorough than what's even available on Odysee/LBRY. It's nicely implemented.

@bitwarden @tulpa I tried using the CLI tool to automate the creation of regular backups using a script but it keeps asking me for the 2FA code multiple times. 😞

@unfa I just listened to your 'PipeWire (LMC #12)' song via Audius. It was a blast! I doubt there is anyone else who can make listening to all that technical jargon about Linux so much fun. Seriously, I just became your lifelong fan! 😄 https://audius.co/embed/track/xNEG2

@Suiseiseki It's relatively more open source than what most people use while still being easily accessible.https://www.fsf.org/blogs/community/support-the-freedom-ladder-campaign-lessons-we-learned-so-far-and-whats-next
