@ErikUdenIrgendwas habe ich mitbekommen aber das Drama hinter den Kulissen war mir nicht bewusst, bis ich gestern Abend den Blog gelesen habe. 😱Und bei der DB kann ich auch wenig helfen. Habe mehr mit Oracle und SAP HANA zu tun. 🤷🏼♂️

@h4890 @ChrisMayLA6That's a good statement, I think! As for myself I started with the need of unemployment benefits and social assistance right after finishing my studies at the University. But then I was lucky chosing a job later, which was not only rising fast but also made fun (well, mostly 😜) until now.A close friend even had more luck and also worked hard on his career, so he's overtaken me by far. 🤷🏼♂️👍What I really dislike 🤬 ...

@h4890 @ChrisMayLA6On the other hand even if you are not a union member you will get the same wages as union members. So why not become a member? Getting all the advantages but don't do anything in exchange? It's just a few €/month and you get monetarian support during strike, union lawyers in case of trouble with your company etc. etc.Right-wing parties like this but what, if the unions are not strong enough for week or monthlong strikes? Imagine for yourself.I call these employees ticks! 🤬

@stfnWe had the same with my grandparents! 😁 But you need at least a huge cellar to store all that and a large garden to grow things by yourself, like beans, peas cabbage abd all the useful things. 🤷🏼♂️

But even for these OpenSource DBs there should be tools to use for backing up the DB and for the redologs/transactionlogs (or however they are called with your DBs) to be archived periodically.Ever thought of a NAS being implemented somewhere and available via safe connection for all? 🤔

Or just a fallback in case of desaster 😱 where you are happy to have some data back but not necessarily the most recent data, e. g. last week? 🤔Sorry for the many questions, but makes it easier to respond. 🤷🏼♂️
