I was thinking about platform stuff. Floating the idea of poasting here again under a new name. One of the biggest advantages of the Fediverse is it's the only cluster of alt tech microbloggers where you don't have to pay for full functionality, and you can say whatever you want.Then I thought about it really hard.Then I looked at my Minds wallet, which pays me more per two weeks if you make a daily exclusive poast than the cost of their basic Plus tier.This model that Brave and Minds and Odysee use is a little silly, but you are making money by using them. I really don't trust the staff there like I do the team over at Gab, or Alex Gleason here, but it's not a bad deal. They've negotiated their way around being cancelled better than anyone else.I still don't think they're any closer to federating. I don't think they'll ever actually decentralize. But it's not a bad site once you find people. Especially since they banned the pedos (who are now all on Poast lol)

The difficult part about service work is that the men upstairs don't want you acting like a human being. If someone is being unreasonable, you better kiss their asshole to make them happy. If you strike up a conversation, as you're demanded to with every person whether they want it or not, it had better damn well end by selling a company credit card.Entry level jobs are hard because you can't just perform a task, you have to sell your soul. Gab is doing fairly well, for what it is. It's sort of a new 4chan. But they have a hard time keeping the thing running and getting anything done, and it's been that way forever. Musk isn't going to give them money.If any project with good goals needs financing and a fire under their ass, it's Minds. They're real believers in decentralization and free communications.
