@capnjoe I love the United States. Many, many incredible experiences there. I have many family members there paying TOP tax rates. If I have been less than clear about that, I have failed. My love for the States goes back to childhood. But: everything north of Antarctica and south of the North Pole is America. That is solidarity. I support your borders. Keep Russia out of the Arctic. The Americas have many distinct countries, in solidarity pole-to-pole. No Russians in northern Canada, please.

@matthew Saw it on the big screen. Clevon Little. We little white kids thought he was the star and we were right! We would have elbowed Gene Wilder aside for Clevon’s autograph. Now the DC Commisars tells us we were wrong. We actually oppressed him. But I believe my own experience. We never saw but were dazzled by Black America: they created “cool.” (Jimi, Roberto Clemente, Aretha, Redd Foxx, James Baldwin, Room 222, Sidney Poitier. Who remembers Clevon Little on TV’s Temperature’s Rising?)

@matthew Little (died in ‘92) may not have taken the world by storm, but with Blazing Saddles, he “tasted it” — critical success mixed with utter acting perfection. We should all be so lucky. An immortal. He was nobody’s fool with this great script, SJWs be darned. @ThomasWic I am surprised at you. I enjoy your acuity and discernment. How can’t you see this is pure “kabuki?” Finger taps. A guy holding the camera. One kid—what dems call a victim— chuckling without control. Those are young MEN. Try finding boys in America who respect an elder like that. Lawyers don’t chase ambulances in Turkey. And I KNOW. Turkey is a great country, uppercase that: GREAT. I was a foreigner there for a long, long time. I felt safe, welcome, respected. And feelings are mutual.

@ThomasWic @PubMaster I for one enjoyed that story. Scratch the surface, and even “weird” places are welcoming. Humans default to humane. “Walk on until...” is good advice when far from home.
