@tilvids (1/2)being a creator fed up with the way youtube put stupid ads with stupid people in stupid suits selling stupid ways to make stupid money in front all of my videos, I pulled the trigger and started migrating all my stuff to #peertube a few months ago. but in all honesty, the problem is: there's next to no feedback. videos that got me tens of thousands of impressions on yt receive 10 plays or so on peertube.

I have to admit, this resonated more with me than I thought it would.Not because of his message. I pretty much figured that all out by myself in the last couple of decades.But rather because of the situation he's in. Eine Frage: Sind hier zufällig #Kunsthistoriker anwesend? Mein Vater widmete einen Großteil seines Lebens der Dokumentation der #Romanik am #Oberrhein. Sein Material würde spielend mehrere Bücher füllen.Ich habe über 10.000 Negative und Dias abzugeben, dazu Ordner mit Plänen und Abzügen, alphabetisch sortiert.Als Bonus: Umfangreiche Dokumentationen und Untersuchungsberichte zu berühmten wie obskuren Baudenkmälern in Baden-Württemberg. Nachtrag: Das Material bleibt bei mir stehen, bis ich wieder umziehe (was schon nächstes Jahr sein kann, vielleicht aber auch erst in 10 Jahren).Ich kann leider nichts damit anfangen, aber mein Vater hat sein Leben lang alles gegeben, und es wäre einfach wunderschön, wenn es doch noch einem Zweck dienen würde.Zu den Objekten die er bauhistorisch untersuchte gehören das Schloss in Heidelberg, die Orangerie in Schwetzingen und vieles, vieles andere mehr.

It seems I have neglected my #asstodon duties for far too long… time to make up for it!Here are a couple of shots of our lovely mule Esmeralda ("Esme") and our no less lovely donkey Corazon Espinado ("Nado" for short) letting off steam in the riding hall.Both Esme and Nado were rescued from the transport to the slaughterhouse at literally the last second. That was 12 years ago. They've been leading a happy life at the sanctuary ever since.#mastodonk
