I have firmware for an ARM7EJ-S. The only technical documentation on this specific processor from ARM that I can find is this series of web pages: https://developer.arm.com/documentation/ddi0214/b This is very inconvenient for me and I would much prefer a PDF, but I can't seem to find one. Is this the ONLY technical info out there?

I've heard about the "death of passwords" many times in my security career so far, but passwords have always outlived the other solutions. But with Microsoft, Google, and Apple pushing FIDO, this time round might indeed be different! My personal view is that it's a very solid technical solution (wouldn't expect anything else from these participants), but it risks leaving out important parts of the population (e.g., elderly, disabled, poor). What do you think?

@gnulinux Emacs. Irgendwo zwischen Texteditor, mächtiger IDE und Skynet.

@seb IMO, the technology already exists. Whether it will be deployed will depend on (a) whether it's possible to solve---technically and/or legally---very tricky edge cases (on top of my head: photos of just one of a pair of identical twins, lookalikes, when is a person a "child", false positives, false negatives, ...), (b) whether Google etc have found a way to monetise such photos and (c) whether there is enough pulic pressure on those companies to make them care enough to spend the resources.

@jeffcliff @catraxx That is an excellent point. I think that if you trust ChartGPT to write code for you, at least you should be aware that you're exposing yourself to some risk.

@mttaggart What do you mean by "style"? Do you want to find out if two texts have likely been written by the same author?
